Spring at the studio is always one of my favorite times of year. Everything feels a little softer, a little lighter, and these sessions are designed to capture childhood in a way that feels timeless — not trendy.

I’ve been working behind the scenes on this spring lineup for a while, and today I’m finally sharing everything that’s coming up. This post is meant to be a one-stop place where you can see what’s being released, read a little more about each session, and book if something feels like a good fit for your family.

Spring Bunny Sessions | March 22

These Spring Bunny sessions are inspired by the feel of a quiet garden potting shed — soft spring florals, natural textures, weathered wood, and a calm, storybook atmosphere. Think less “Easter theme” and more a peaceful spring moment tucked into a gardener’s shed.

The setup is layered with potted plants, greenery, and gentle spring details, keeping the focus on your child and their expressions rather than props or distractions.

Please note:
These sessions are for children who can sit independently. This setup is not suitable for newborns or non-sitters. If you have a non-sitter, they will need to be held.

Perfect if you love:

White Barn & Lamb Sessions | March 28

(New this year)

This is a brand-new offering for me this spring, and I’m so excited to finally share it.

These sessions take place at a beautiful white barn, with seating at the edge of the barn surrounded by live plants framing the opening. You’ll also have access to the center of the barn, allowing for a variety of clean, timeless images.

The sweetest baby lamb will be part of these sessions, with a wrangler on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. For families who would like it, a cross is available as an optional element and can be brought in or out of the setup based on your preference.

This session is perfect if you’re looking for:

Mother’s Day & Spring Flower Bar Sessions

These sessions are all about nostalgia!

Inspired by grandma’s house, these setups include well-loved quilts, soft florals, and gentle textures that create a warm, sentimental feel. The Flower Bar adds an interactive element that kids love, while still keeping everything calm, beautiful, and intentional.

These are perfect for:

• Mother’s Day portraits
• Generational photos
• Soft, meaningful images you’ll want to frame

In-Studio Sports Portrait Sessions

(New this year)

These sports sessions are all about celebrating your athlete — however that looks for them.

Set on turf with a stadium-style backdrop, these in-studio sessions work beautifully for all sports — baseball, softball, football, flag football, soccer, basketball, cheer, dance, and more. They’re strong, fun, and a little different from the typical sports pictures you see every year.

One of my favorite options is the Sporty Princess look. This is for the girls who love their sport but also love a little flair — athletic and confident, with just enough softness mixed in. And while I love that look, these sessions are also perfect for boys and more traditional sports portraits too.

Session details:

• 10-minute in-studio session
• One athlete per session (sibling add-on available)
• Sports balls, basic props, crowns, and eye black provided
• Families provide wardrobe, uniforms, dresses, and shoes
