Christmas kitchen mini sessions in Canton, GA have become one of my favorite traditions at Victoria Lee Photography. What began as a simple idea—children baking and decorating Christmas cookies—has grown into such a fun and interactive holiday experience.

Over the years, the kitchen has changed and evolved, but the heart of these sessions has stayed the same. I wanted to create a place where children could do more than sit and smile for the camera. They get to decorate cookies, play in the kitchen, sneak a little icing and simply enjoy being kids at Christmastime.

More Than Christmas Pictures

Some of my favorite images happen when children forget I am even taking pictures. They are busy choosing sprinkles, showing off their cookies or laughing over the mess they have made. Those little moments bring out real expressions and personalities—and they make every gallery feel different.

Of course, we will still take the beautiful smiling pictures everyone wants. However, the interactive parts of the session help children relax and give us so many sweet, natural moments along the way.

Although the sessions are playful, I still want the finished images to feel clean, crisp and professional. The set is designed with timeless Christmas details rather than anything overly trendy or cluttered. It feels festive and magical while still keeping your children—and the memories they are making—as the focus.

I love thinking about families looking back at these pictures years from now. The tiny hands decorating cookies, the missing teeth, the icing-covered smiles and even the occasional holiday chaos are all part of this season of life.
