As a Cake Smash Photographer in Canton GA, one of my favorite parts of the job is bringing fun themes to life. A while back, I created a “ONE Silly Goose” setup, and another mom fell in love with it. For her little girl’s first birthday, we decided to put a twist on the original and turn it into a Pink Silly Goose cake smash.

A Fun Twist on a Favorite Silly Goose

This custom setup was such a blast to design. We kept the silly goose charm but added pink balloons, pink details, and softer accents to make it extra girly. The pops of pink really transformed the entire look, and it quickly became one of my favorite sets I’ve ever done. Seeing my props come together in new ways is always exciting—it keeps every cake smash unique.

The Smile & Smash Package

For this session, mom chose the Smile & Smash package, which includes traditional portraits and the cake smash itself. Her little girl wore the sweetest dainty outfit with tiny pigtails, and she smiled through the entire session. She dove into the cake with so much personality, making it a seamless and joyful experience from start to finish.

A Session Full of Joy

Every detail of this day felt perfect—the pink details, the custom props, the balloons, and most importantly, this happy little girl. Sessions like these remind me why I love first birthday photography so much. Each baby brings something new and fun to the studio.
