Flower Bar Mini-Sessions in Canton, GA — A Hands-On Spring Experience You’ll Want Every Year

mini-session, Mother's Day

There’s something so special about spring. Everything feels lighter, brighter, and full of new beginnings — which is exactly why I wanted to bring something new, meaningful, and hands-on to the studio this year. My Flower Bar Mini-Sessions are a one-of-a-kind spring experience designed for moms, grandmas, little ones, and anyone who simply loves flowers.

These sessions are more than portraits. They’re a chance to slow down, create together, and walk away with both beautiful images and a fresh bouquet you designed yourself.

A Sweet Experience for Mother’s Day, Mommy & Me, or Even Generational Photos

I kept thinking about how many families come in each spring wanting Mother’s Day photos, Mommy & Me pictures, or something meaningful for grandma. So instead of a traditional setup, I designed a session where everyone can actually do something together.

During your Flower Bar Mini-Session, you’ll browse a curated selection of spring flowers and mixed greenery, picking out the stems you’re drawn to. Kids love choosing their favorites, and it’s so sweet watching moms, daughters, and grandmas build bouquets side-by-side. These are the moments that feel genuine — the little hands reaching for flowers, the smiles shared over which colors to choose, and the quiet joy of creating something beautiful together.

It’s perfect for:

  • Mother’s Day gifts
  • Mommy & Me photos
  • Grandma + grandchild sessions
  • Three-generation portraits
  • Anyone who wants a unique, meaningful spring memory

Hands-On Fun, Plus Beautiful Portraits

I’ll photograph the entire process — the candid moments of choosing blooms, the laughter while arranging them, and the final portraits with your completed bouquet. Kids especially love the hands-on part, and it makes the whole experience feel natural and relaxed.

At the end, you’ll leave with a fresh bouquet arranged in your keepsake vase, filled with a mix of greenery and spring florals. It’s a little piece of the session you get to take home and enjoy all week long.

A Simple, Timeless Set with Soft Vintage Vibes

The studio décor for these sessions will be light and simple — lots of greenery, fresh florals, and a few soft vintage touches to add charm without distracting from the experience. I wanted the set to feel clean, warm, and timeless… something that highlights the connection between you and your little ones instead of overwhelming the photos.

Think:
Spring greens

Fresh-cut flowers
Soft vintage textures
Clean, natural colors

It’s the perfect backdrop for a spring memory.

Final Thoughts

I wanted these sessions to feel meaningful, special, and different — something you’ll talk about and remember long after the flowers fade. Whether it’s a Mother’s Day gift, a mommy-and-me moment, or a generational portrait with grandma, these Flower Bar Minis are designed to celebrate the people you love most.

I can’t wait to see the bouquets you create… and the memories you make.
