First birthdays are magical moments. I had the honor of photographing a precious little girl’s Fairy-Themed Cake Smash Session. As a first birthday cake smash photographer in Canton, GA, I loved working on this fun session. Her mom requested a very popular theme—fairy. She wanted hues of purples with touches of pink, which made for an enchanting setup.

I used fairy lights and butterflies to bring the theme to life. The result was a dreamy fairyland that made the perfect backdrop. Mom was absolutely over the moon with the set! Seeing her joy made all the effort worthwhile.

This little girl loved her bath—maybe even more than the cake smash! The splashing and laughter were so adorable, making for some of my favorite shots of the day.
