For 16 years now, A Date with Santa has been one of my favorite traditions—and for so many families, it has become theirs too. Over the years, I’ve watched little ones I photographed as newborns grow into confident kids who burst into the studio ready to see Santa again. Even sweeter, some of those same kids now come back as teenagers and even college students because this experience still feels special to them.
Seeing families return year after year—no matter how much their children have grown—is one of the greatest joys of this season. As you look ahead to 2026, here’s what you can expect from my Santa sessions in Canton, GA, and why this tradition continues to mean so much to the families I photograph.

These sessions aren’t rushed, crowded, or chaotic. Instead, they are warm, relaxed, and personal—giving each child enough time to settle in and enjoy their moment with Santa. After 16 years of photographing Christmas sessions, I’ve learned how to create an environment where every child feels comfortable, whether it’s their very first Christmas or their fifteenth.
Santa himself is wonderful to work with. He is kind, gentle, and genuinely invested in every family. Because of this, he makes interactions feel natural and magical, which is one reason older kids still love returning year after year.

Parents often mention how many thoughtful touches go into these sessions. Every detail is intentional and designed to make the experience feel magical.
Each child leaves with a curated goodie bag created with care and filled with festive items.
Seeing their name written on the Nice List is a moment kids remember. It’s always one of the biggest smiles of the session.
These certificates are hand-stamped, printed on specialty paper, and personalized for each child. No two are ever the same.

There are no lines, crowds, or rushing. Instead, you’ll step into a calm atmosphere designed for genuine holiday memories.
After so many years, I’ve learned exactly how to guide little ones, calm nervous first-timers, and keep sessions running smoothly. As a result, families return because they know what to expect—professionalism, consistency, and a lot of heart.

Another part of these sessions that I love is our tradition of giving back. Each year, we collect donations for a local charity—whether it’s food, toys, or other essentials. It’s incredibly meaningful to see kids walk in proudly holding items to donate.
This simple act brings kindness and community into the holiday season, and I’m always grateful for the generosity our families show.
Although full details for 2026 will be released in July, the heart of these sessions will remain the same. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Whether this will be your first Santa session or your fifteenth, the goal is always to create a warm, magical, and meaningful experience.
