This year’s Christmas Tree Farm Sessions were an adventure from the very start — proof that sometimes the best sessions happen when you least expect it. Just as everyone arrived, the rain began to fall. For a moment, it looked like we might have to call it. But then, as if on cue, the skies cleared, the light softened beautifully, and we ended up with some of the most gorgeous photos of the season.

The patience of every family paid off. The trees glistened with that fresh rain glow, the colors popped against the evergreens, and the laughter that filled the air made it all worth the wait. From cozy sweaters to classic holiday dresses, every detail fit perfectly into the festive backdrop.

I absolutely love these sessions because they capture a true Christmas feeling — surrounded by tall trees, warm tones, and that hint of crisp winter air. The Christmas Tree Farm is the perfect setting for families and kids of all ages. There’s something so timeless about it — simple, natural, and full of heart.

Each year, these sessions become a highlight of the season. They’re relaxed, filled with laughter, and deliver the kind of portraits that instantly feel like Christmas cards waiting to happen. This year, the weather gave us a challenge, but it also gave us something beautiful — a reminder that sometimes, when things don’t go as planned, the results turn out even better.
