Senior Year Memories: Capturing the Essence of Graduation

This graduating senior outdoor photo session was a dream! Photographing graduating high school seniors is one of my very favorite sessions to do! Each young person has their own visions and personalities and I truly enjoy getting to know these kids and learning more about them! Whether they are starting a job, going to trade school or college, each has their own dreams! I love hearing about their high school years, what sports they played, what plays they were in, favorite academic subjects, etc…talking to these kids is so fun!

I have known these girls for about 13 years! They have been with me since the very beginning – when I first started photography. I first photographed them in Downtown Canton many years ago when they were itty bitty and just precious! They wore matching frilly dresses and I got to see their perfect personalities then! I have since photographed them several times over the years. Watching them grow into beautiful young women has been a pleasure. When their mom reached out and asked if I would do their senior pictures, I felt honored! Casual senior photo sessions are always such fun!

No more matching, frilly dresses and each girl has their own dreams for their future. However, their bond and friendship is just so sweet. The love these two have for one another is so evident. It is hard to believe we are they are already graduating seniors! We decided on West Milford Farm and their gorgeous venue as the location for their high school graduating senior photoshoot. It is stunning! The greenhouse, roads, and fields mixed with their beautiful dresses was perfect! It is hard to believe they are old enough to graduate, but I know they are going to do great things! I wish them success and happiness on their future endeavors! Congratulations, girls!
