A Bold, Custom Cake Smash Setup

For this theme, I designed a set that was full of personality. The backdrop included checkered lightning bolts, playful smiley faces, and a big mix of black, yellow, and white balloons. The whole vibe was bright, cheerful, and a little over the top—in the best way possible. Every set I create is custom, and this one was no exception.

Mom selected my Smile, Smash & Splash package, which always includes traditional portraits, the cake smash itself, and a bubble bath finale. While he loved the cake, the bath was definitely the highlight. He splashed nonstop, laughed the entire time, and even cried when it was over. We ended up with the biggest water mess I’ve had in a while, but it was worth it to capture that joy.
