Dakota is an incredible athlete, coach and business owner. Photographing her on the football field was the perfect way to tell her story. We included professional portraits, coaching images and plenty of action shots that showed her in her element.

Meet Coach Dakota of DH Flag Football

Dakota’s love for football started long before DH Flag Football was created. She played professionally as a quarterback for the Atlanta Steam for six seasons. Her career included six All-Star selections, two Offensive Player of the Year awards and several league records.

She later helped lead Sequoyah High School’s first girls flag football team. During her time coaching, the team earned county championships, an undefeated season and a Final Four appearance.

Today, she uses that experience to help other athletes and coaches grow through DH Flag Football.

Her online flag football academy provides training and resources for players, parents and coaches. The goal is not only to teach the game. Dakota also wants to build confident athletes and strong leaders.

For this session, we wanted the photographs to feel strong, confident and authentic.

We captured traditional portraits that she can use throughout her website and marketing. We also photographed her studying plays, holding her coaching board and working on the field.

Of course, we had to include action.

Dakota ran routes, threw the football and showed the athletic ability behind her experience as both a player and coach. Those action photographs add movement and energy to her brand. They also immediately show potential clients that she does not simply teach flag football—she knows the game firsthand.
